Short biography

Musicologist, specialist of Polish literature, culture manager, academic since 1983. He graduated both in polish philology (MA 1981) and musicology (MA 1988) and obtained a PhD diploma at the Jagiellonian University in 1994. He was the Jagiellonian University’s lecturer (various positions) since 1983, and at the moment – a professor in the Institute of Musicology, Department of History (JU). His main interests are (Polish) music culture, culture management, music criticism, and music in film.
